Testimonials

I.) Special Thanks to:
• Knotts & Son Funeral Home and Services
• Wesley Chapel Church (Rev. Reginald Smith)

II.) Isaac Abiola Coker….
Isaac was man of very strong Principles. Faith, Family, Friends, Education and Giving Back to his community were the pillars of his beliefs as an individual. We were truly blessed to have had such a strong leader, father, friend, and husband. He has truly touched the hearts and souls of so many individuals on this earth.

You know his story very well, and if you did not he would be the first to tell you again. His roots originated in Nigeria. He was a proud man of his upbringing, traditions, and past experiences prior to coming to the United States. His humble beginnings helped to pave the way for his success in life. He would always let me know as his son, that no matter where I go in life to be grateful for the struggles that he has gone through so that he could provide a better life for his family.

 Family…….Isaac loved to stay in touch and connect with family members that were geographically disbursed. He would always love to reconnect with family and share past stories or learn about the types of things going on in their lives. He had such a passion and deep happiness just to speak to family members here in NC, back home in Nigeria, or if they were in some other part of the world like the UK or Australia.

 Friends………Isaac would light up with joy anytime he could visit or speak with any of his friends. He loved to have deep conversations about life, business, networking, and share stories. No matter where he went in life, he ALWAYS would make new friends. I used to laugh and joke with him about the fact that everywhere he goes he always comes back with new friends….

 Education: When Isaac came to the United States, he attended school to study Nuclear Medicine Science. He was so fascinated by the concept of a person educating themselves for self-improvement. He loved to hear about his family and friends attending training schools, obtaining licenses, certifications, or degrees. Isaac embraced the concept that a person should exhaust all resources in order to educate and improve upon yourself.

 Giving Back: Giving back to the community, family, and friends is always a choice in life. Isaac always proudly chose this path in life. He would always quietly help his friends and loved ones out whether they were in need or not. Nothing gave him more personal satisfaction in life than to give back in life. As a leader and a great father, he always tried his best to share this advice to others.
Isaac met his wife of 44 yrs in Chapel Hill, NC. As a husband, he could not be prouder of being with such an exceptional woman. Anywhere he went he would always be the first to state how happy and lucky he was to have such a loving and strong woman by his side.

My father would always tell Lola and I how proud of us he was. Today, I want to state how proud I am of him. I cannot be happier and prouder to have had such a loving and caring father who always looked out for our best interest.

Dad…….. We will miss you. We will never forget you, your smile, or that famous laugh….
We hope you are at peace and resting comfortably in your final Home.

God Bless you.

Hi, Shawann, let me take this opportunity to once again say thanks to you for your assistance and the personal touch you showed us doing our visit to discuss final rites for our brother. Your willingness, your mannerism and your smile brings a lot to a family who is hurting. Keep up the good work.

Mr. Knotts,

This correspondence is to thank you for the exceptional service provided for my mother Florence Rodgers on December 29, 2018.
The initial contact with Ms. Bellamy calmed my fears immediately. When I told her of my apprehensions knowing my mother's body would be transported from Philadelphia to North Carolina she assured and comforted me.
Every time we spoke Shawann was business like, knowledgeable and patient as I made arrangements for the final viewing and church services. She was never overbearing when making suggestions to help with my indecision. She gave me options and was flexible which was of great assistance to me at a very difficult time demanding clear and concise determinations. Ms. Bellamy is definitely an asset to your business as a first point of contact.
I commend you Mr. Knotts for the way you conducted your staff, keeping every aspect of the home going celebration honoring mother's life done with respect, dignity and sincerity. Our family and friends were appreciative of the service you provided.
Thankfully,
