Obituary 

Wilhemina(Wendy)Lucas, was born on January 29, 1967 to the late John Douglas Lucas and Judy Ann Scotton of Siler City, NC. 

Wilhemina (Wendy) Lucas accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She attended Jordan Matthews High School. She loved helping people and spending time with her grand kids and family and loved to cook, eat and dance. She was also the caregiver for Ms. Olivia Pugh until her death. 

Wilhemina (Wendy) departed this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father; John Douglas (Billy) Lucas and her brother, Roy Lee Brooks. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: her grandmother, Josephine `

Brooks of Siler City, NC; her fiance, Steve Goldston of Siler City, NC; five children, David Miller, Preston Miller (Bridget), Patrick Miller (Sue) of Siler City, NC, Keanon Miller of Charlotte, NC and Joshua Lucas (Ashanti) of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Pamela Lee (Stevie Sr.) of Siler City, NC and Lisa McKiver (Glen) of High Point, NC; two brothers, Len Lucas of Asheboro, NC and Jeremiah Scotton (Shannon) of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Devondre, Dakayla, Devin, Darius, Desiree, Brooklynn, Kanasia and Tyler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, other relatives and friends.
