Mrs. Jessie Lee (Spruill) Jordan

Jessie Lee Jordan was born in Robbins, North Carolina to the late Alfred and Callie Spruill on June 24, 1932. She departed this life on January 24, 2023 at her home in Siler City, North Carolina.

Jessie Jordan was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Charles Jordan for 55 years. To this union, nine children were born.

She retired from Carolina Poultry Plant. She then be- came a homemaker where she enjoyed her grandkids and great grandkids, where she was called “Honey.”

Jessie Jordan was preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Jordan and son Dion Devon Jordan; and eight of her nine siblings.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Wade (Donnell) of Greensboro, NC, Sandra Jordan of Siler City, NC, and Sharon Ann Johnson of Willingboro, NJ; sons, Jimmie Lee Jordan of Siler City, Johnny Thomas Jordan, and Richard “Ricky” Jordan, Siler City, NC, Gregory “Craig” Jordan (Lisa) of Siler City, NC, Darrell Anthony Jordan “Cowboy” of Greensboro, NC; Sheldon Zellars of Siler City, NC; one sister, Gertrude Jordan of Greensboro, NC; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She leaves behind many cherished and fond memories with her family and friends.
