Mrs. Cathy Dorina Lee

Cathy Doreen Alston Lee was born June 24, 1956 to the late David and Ruby Alston. She was "the baby" of seven girls.

She attended Evans Chapel as a young girl, was educated in the Chatham County school system and later went to work at Midstate poultry as a processer in Siler City. 

Cathy was married to the late Richard Lee. She loved all of her nieces and nephews especially the two that she helped to raise. Cathy never met a stranger and when not talking on the phone to her family and friends, working in crossword puzzles or wishing you a Happy Birthday on WNCA radio, she would be found dancing or singing a song and enjoying every moment of her life. She especially loved to go to church if someone would be willing to give her a ride and after service stop for fried chicken and a coke.

She has been greeted in heaven by her two sisters Nancy Lee Alston and Brenda Alston.

Cathy leaves to cherish her memories: four sisters, Barbara Brim (Calvin) of Raleigh, Alyease Fox (June) of Siler City, Janice Alston of Pittsboro, and Daisy Scotton (George) of Siler City; an uncle that she adored, Otis Alston (Panava) of Callicoon, New York; her special friend, Thurl Marsh; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
