Mr. William Michael Smith

William Michael "Mike" Smith, was born on January 29, 1961to the late Elizabeth N. Smith and William Craven in Siler City, NC. He transitioned from earth to glory on December 2, 2022 at his home. Mike accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Holy Trinity U.H. Church. He enjoyed serving in the following capacities: as an Usher, a member of the Pastor's Aide, Junior Deacon, Men's Prayer Breakfast, attended Sunday School, Morning Worship service, Bible Study and recently became involved in the Men's Ministry. He remained a dedicated member until life's circumstances and his health declined.

Mike attended Chatham High School and Jordan Matthews High School, Siler City, North Carolina. He was employed for several years at UNC Hospital. Chapel Hill, NC. He loved people and was always rendering a helping hand, mowing lawns, washing cars, removing trash, and anything he could do to help someone. He had a big heart and was noted a visiting the patients at UNC Hospital giving them a word of encouragement. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth N. Smith and William Craven; one son, Cory Williams, two brothers, Gary and Johnny Smith, and one sister, Annette S. Foxx.

He leaves to cherish his life and memory his wife of fifteen years, Ivey Matthews Smith; three step children, Keith Alston, Reginald Matthews, and Keona Alston; one beloved brother, Donnie Smith (Lisa); three sisters, Judy Rodriguez (Eddie), Deborah Alston, and Michelle Smith of Siler City, North Carolina; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
