Mr. William Curtis Bowden

Obituary

William Curtis Bowden, son of the late Ralph and Ida Mae Bowden, was born October 11, 1961 in Orange County. He departed this life on December 22, 2021 at the age of 60 years old. 

William graduated from Jordan-Matthews High School in Siler City, North Carolina. He worked for over 30 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill power plant. 

William was married to Kathleen Nicholson. He loved working on cars and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was there for anyone who needed anything. If he had it and if he could help... he was there with no hesitation.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ida Mae Bowden and his brother, Ralph David Bowden. 

William is survived by: his wife, Kathleen Bowden of Hillsborough, NC; his sisters, Priscilla Foxx, Judy Bowden, Mary Bowden, Barbara Coltrane (Steve), Anita Hodnett, all of Liberty, NC and Nancy Header of Burlington, NC; his brothers, Harold Bowden of Liberty, NC, Sam Bowden of Hillsborough, NC, Dwight and Bruce Bowden of Burlington, NC; several aunts; one uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
