His Story

Tommie Leroy Foxx was born February 2, 1938, in Siler City, NC to the late Leon and Lillian Foxx. At an early age as the oldest son, Tommie began working with his father on the farm. On February 22, 1958, he married the love of his life, Annie Selle Jordan-Foxx. They were married 62 years, to this union three children were born (Morris Dale, Randy and Sheva). Tommie was a devoted and faithful member of Jordan Grove A.M.E Zion Church until his transition. Tommie worked at Selig in Siler City, NC and then at Central Carolina Community College until he retired in July 2013.

Tommie would give to those in need no matter who you were; family, friend or stranger. If anyone was ever in a bind, he was there to help. Everyone that knew Tommie, could count on him being early.
