Mr. James Roger Lee Bennett

Mr. James Roger Lee Bennett, son of the late James and Katie Morina Bennett, was born June 24,1952 in Moore County, Pinehurst, North Carolina and departed this life June 27, 2022   in Staley, North Carolina. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Woodley Bennett and niece Stephanie Ingram. 

He worked at Lazor Industries in Siler City, North Carolina for twenty-six years. He was a hard worker and a well known person in Staley and at his job. He will be truly missed.    

He leaves to cherish his memories: his significant other, Cookie, of the home; two step-daughters, Angela Cassady and Michelle Lineberry of Asheboro, North Carolina; one sister,  Lorine Ruth Poole of Norman, North Carolina; two brothers, Elger B. J. Bennett, II of Pinehurst, North Carolina and Tony Bennett of Asheboro, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
