Obituary

Gene Autry Headen was wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who taught lifelong lessons. He was a graduated of Chatham High School and a retired trucker traveling throughout the United States over 40 years. Without any former education God gave him the ability to master car and motorcycle repair. He had special love riding his motorcycles, race car driving and discussing the history of Dale Earnhart Sr. Gene Autry was an original member of the Footstompers Motorcycle Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents Beactrice S. Headen, father Troy Brooks and Step-father Palmer K. Headen, son , Kelly G. Headen, siblings, Blondie McSwain, Floyd Headen and Lilly Alston.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Sandra Headen, Siler City, NC, Marshall Headen, Siler City, NC, Step-daughter, Angel Herbert, Norfolk Va , Step-daughter, Elizabeth Francis, Greensboro, NC and Seaira Headen, Siler City, Sibling, Mary Goldston,(Howard), Grandchildren 22, Great -Grand children 23 and Host of nieces, nephews and friends.
