Douglas Foxx was born on April 1, 1944 to Mr. and Mrs. Howard and Ruth (Price) Foxx in Siler City, NC. After Douglas attended Chatham High School in, Siler City, he went on to work at the local poultry plant. Douglas than relocated to Philadelphia, PA in search of a new a career, with The Box Company.
After gaining new knowledge of factory work, Douglas became homesick, and returned to his hometown of Siler City, NC. Upon Douglas return home, he resumed work at the poultry plant, retiring in the 1980’s.
Following retirement, Douglas spent his time following baseball, and wrestling matches. He would spend his evenings watching wrestling matches. He loved his family.
Douglas is survived by his brother Thomas Cecil (Arlene) Foxx, and nephews Curtis Queeman (Shanika), Damien Foxx, Eric Watson, as well as 5 great grand nieces and nephews and a host of relatives from across the United States.
