Mr. Conrad B. Chance

Conrad Belfield Chance, son of the late Weldon and Annie Ruth Chance was born August 20, 1948 in Dunn, N.C. and departed this life of October 20, 2020.

Mr. Chance attended Dudley High School in Greensboro, N.C. He was a long distance truck driver for over 45 years. After retirement he worked for Chatham Transit for five years. Conrad belonged to Mitchell AME Zion Church in Pittsboro, N.C. where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Masonic Morningstar Lodge #691 in Greensboro, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joseph Rankin and one sister, Bertha McLean.

He leaves to carry on his memories, his loving and faithful wife, Flossie M. Chance of the home; one daughter, Regina Lawson (Pete) of Laurel, MD; four sons, Conrad Chance (Sherry) of Laurinburg, N.C., Wendell Chance of Greensboro, N.C., Malcolm Marsh (Sheila) of Wingate, N.C., Ryan Marsh (Sharon) of Concord, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
