Billy Joe (Nuck) Craven, was born May 12, 1955, to the late Henry and Elizabeth Craven. He was a great father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Billy was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the male chorus. He attended Jordan- Matthews High School and played basketball. His love for basketball led him to coach recreational basketball, which he enjoyed tremendously. Billy loved watching the UNC Tarheels!
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Craven, brother, Thomas Henry Craven
Billy transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, June 22, 2023. He leaves to cherish his loving and fond memories his daughters Sharon Adams-Crouch (Gregory) of Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly Reaves-Ferree (Andre) of Cedar Park, Texas
Grandchildren W. Hayden Dillard ll, Malik Crouch of Atlanta, Georgia. Nolan Ferree, Peyton Ferree of Cedar Park Texas.
Sisters, Joyce Ann Siler (Steve), Frances Jones (Billy) of Siler City, NC, Sister-in-law Rev. Lena Craven of Asheboro, NC nephews Eddie Cheek (Rachel) of Gastonia, NC Norris Craven (Michelle) of Holly Springs, Brian Marsh (Monica) of Siler City NC, niece Tosha Craven Shirriel (Brian) of Silver Springs, Maryland, Great nephews Cody Nettles, Zaiden Lilly, Zyhir Lilly, Great-nieces Satoya Siler, Katelin Craven, Kendall Craven, Cara Craven, Chloe Shirriel, Charlie Shirriel, Aspen Kate Nettles and a host of extended family.
