Obituary

October2,1961 was the day BARON “DALE” WHITE entered into this world to Melvin “Vernell” White and Josephine “Polly” White.

Dale ,also known as “one hit” to his family and friends, received his education in Chatham County, NC graduating from Jordan Matthews High School in 1980. He was one of  the leading Running Backs throughout his high school years; he was the infamous #40. After graduating, he worked numerous jobs. He loved motorcycles, cars and music. You   could find him many days outside washing and waxing his car with music playing in the background. If you went into his home, you were also met with music. He also enjoyed   D. J.ing, especially if it involved his daughter, Amber. He was a member of the Foot Stompers MC Club and Past Knights of Pythagoreans.

Dale joined First Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and continued until he married Linda Mapp. During this time, he attended Corinth A.M.E. Zion Church in Siler City,   NC. After her death, he returned to First Missionary Baptist Church. Upon his return, he became active in videoing of all services which he maintained until his health declined.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Vernell and Polly, and his loving wife, Linda.
