Kiana Shalese Craven was born to Thomas Kittrell Craven and Dana Brooks on May 14, 1992 at UNC Chapel Hill. She was the middle child of four siblings, have been the only girl.
She was a ray of sunshine, bringing forth many smiles and many memories to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She enjoyed cooking, music and spending time with her family and friends.
She was the mother of three precious baby girls; Layla, Hayden and Bayleigh Craven. They were the light of her life and she loved them very dearly.
Her untimely passing has left a void in all of those who loved her greatly; but happy, lovely, precious treasured memories will prevail with all forever to help fill this void.
With the passing of Kiana, we remind everyone that this is a life to be celebrated. She will be missed everyday but will remain in our hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois Brooks, Thomas “Bubba” Craven, and Shirley Craven; her great grandmother, Maggie Bell Brooks Lake and her niece, Loyalty Scotton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Layla Craven, Hayden Craven and Bayleigh Craven; both of her parents;
Thomas Kittrell Craven (Tara Craven) and Dana Brooks (Sam); her brothers, Chaz Alston (Rachel Alston), Brandon Scotton, and Aaron Dorsett; step-sister, Selena McLean; her nieces, Alexis Alston, Za’miya Scotton and Lanysha Scotton; her nephew, Elijah Alston, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
