He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories, his de- voted and loving wife, Rosa Marsh of the home, son Kermit Carter (Carmen), grandsons Jacob Carter and Tre Newell, granddaughter Lia Carter, sister Lorraine McIntosh (John), brother William Marsh, one aunt, Doris Price, special nephew Brandon (Smiley) Shamburger, many cherished nieces and nephews, a bonus sister and brother Willie Mae and JC Thomp- son, and a host of friends made throughout his life.
“The measure and impact of John’s life goes far beyond these words. He was the epitome of a family man, whose love and memories will forever live our hearts. He will be missed dearly but we find peace in knowing he is at home with the Lord.”
