Deaconess Ollie M. Mercer

Deaconist Ollie Marie Mercer departed this life peacefully in the arms of the Lord January 5th, 2023 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born on December 19th 1936 to the late Pauline and Price Hooker.

She attended school in Goldston, North Carolina School System. She resided in Baltimore Maryland at the age of 16 which she help out her brother in his store.
She picked up many trades and different jobs. She loved to work. She had a big heart and always willing to help others. She had a sweet spirit and she loved the Lord. Her greatest love was
her family. She loved to laugh, sing, and have some good old fun. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Pauline Hooker, father Price Hooker; son, Anthony Hooker; three brothers, Levan Hooker, June Hooker, and Leroy Hooker.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Octavia Koger, and Tammy Mercer-Webb; one son-in-law Michael Webb, three grand children, Octavia White, Shanice Williams,
Johnne Koger, one grandson-in-law, Kevin Smith; two great grand children, Kamellah Smith, and Kaleb Smith; two sisters, Delores Thompson, and Allene Street; three brothers, Kent
Hooker, Paul Hooker, and William Hooker from Goldston, NC. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
