Melanie Joy Gray

OBITUARY

Melanie Joy Gray was born to the late C.B. and Martha Gray on June 10th  1959; she was the
last of three other siblings and departed this life Juy 24, 2019. 

 Melanie attended Jordan Matthews High School and later on she
received her CNA license in 2002 from Central Carolina Community College, she had a
passion for helping other people.

Melanie attended First Missionary Baptist Church as a young
child and remained here in Siler City for most of her adult life.

Melanie never married but she is
the proud mother of one daughter whom she loved very dearly, Takisha Gray. She is the paternal
grand-mother of 4 grandchildren, DaQuan, Alexis, Raekwon and Montrez. She also has one
great grandchild Samari Kimes.

Melanie leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Takisha Gray from Birmingham
Alabama, a sister Kathy Ross from Burlington, NC, two brothers, Carlton Brooks (Sandra) from
Graham, NC, Rev. Barry R. Gray (Mildred) from Siler City. She will certainly be missed by her
many relatives and friends, sleep on my sister and take your rest.
