Annie Ruth Glover

Obituary 

Annie Ruth Glover departed this life on November 1, 2019 at Genesis Nursing Home at the age of 85. Annie Ruth was born August 12, 1934 in Chatham County. She is the oldest of five siblings born to the late Hannah Glover.

Annie Ruth joined Evans Chapel at an early age and was a faithful member until her illness prevented her from attending. She was a loving sister who took care of her younger siblings. She enjoyed helping cook dinner for the family. 

Annie graduated from Chatham High School in SIler City, She left home to work in Asheboro for a short while. After returning to Siler City, she worked for a company called Quality Mold. She later worked for Bill's Hotel.

Annie Ruth had many friends and our Aunt Mae said, "Annie never met a stranger." If someone spoke to her and said "Hi, Annie Ruth, how are you?" her favorite words were, "Just fine and you?"

Annie leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Shirley Lee of Siler City, NC and Hertie Horton (Aldine) of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Roosevelt Glover (Mary) of Greensboro, NC and Ronnie Glover (Kay) of Rochester, NY; her Aunt Mae whom she loved dearly; many cousins and several nieces and nephews as well as dearly beloved friends.
